The zlib general purpose data compression/decompression library has the zlib1.dll module as its component. The file zlib1.dll is the official build of zlib as a DLL. It is designed to be a free, general-purpose, lossless data compression library for use on virtually any computer hardware or operating system. The zlib was written by Jean-loup Gailly (compression) and Mark Adler (decompression).
