    I am 77 and very dissabled-oldest of 12 ---19 living accross the countre and time is short:So dont know what i would do if my Magic Jack goes down.It has been a life saver for my morall.and piece of mind as my siblings are unable to spend to much to call.     Magicack IP Phone works great! It does require Broadband internet access, (however I did get it to work on a good 56k dial-up connection), the company says it will NOT WORK over dial-up.:). I like the Phone number selection that was available and the billing, (especially with the 5 year option), can not be beat. I got 2 for 5 years and still paid less then my single line land line bills for 1 month. Using a standard phone cord you connect it to your wall jack, unplug the phone company interface box, and you replaced your super expensive land line based phone company.
