Part of some versions of the "LG PC Suite" software that comes with LG mobile phones. It is required for handling the PC-side of the LG Air Sync application, which for example allows you to share browser history between the phone and the PC, or to send files directly to the phone by right-clicking without having to connect the phone to the PC. The program can be safely disabled if none of these functions are used; they will work again if the program is restarted. In its current version (v1.0.0.1 from June 2010, bundled with PC Suite IV) it seems to have some serious memory leaks. After one or two days of system uptime, I have occasionally seen it take up 150MB or more of memory.
