I've said "Threat" but it can also be harmless. It will not show up in virus scans, unless the file is infected - it's an infector / tool. You will notice it running in your Task Manager Processes. It is often safe to terminate. I'd recommend you do. See what happens - probably nothing. If you want to remove it, then you will need to do this - it most often is placed in c:windowssystem32ambspie.exe or wherever the other files it is using are. Basically - this .exe is most often used to inject code into other systems and software. You may notice, using something like CCleaner, when checking your registry and start up options, that a strange .dll is forced to load. This will be part of whatever function Ambspie.exe is being used for. It is most often used for "cheats" or "trainers" in computer games, sometimes some bad coders will use it to patch their software but - as a hacker - I know that it can have some very nasty uses indeed :) If it's running each time you turn your computer on - I recommend you remove it and use CCleaner to see if any strange files (like .dll's) are being loaded at startup. You can tell this because there will be a startup process: Rundll32.exe or RegSvr32.exe and the files that Ambspie is using to inject data (malicious or otherwise) into wherever it wants to go. This "virus" is most often contracted by those who wish to cheat at computer games. Let it be a lesson that people like me who make these "trainers" for games like "Call of Duty" will do it so that we have access to all your personal information stored on your computer. And you'll download and run the software because you want to cheat instead of play the game properly - even if you know it could be / *IS* malware.
