I suggest that you run regedit.exe and search for Vaudix. Sometimes it appears to have been deleted, but it actually has not been deleted. It avoids searches and security software. Sometimes phantom files will appear, but they are not there. Vaudix will sometimes block an online movie from playing and then claim that it must be downloaded before the movie will play. This is a lie. Vaudix itself may appear under another name. In general Vaudix files do not allow access. The permissions are set so that a user cannot open them. I have not found a single person who has been able to do anything useful with Vaudix. My opinion is that some activities associated with Vaudix may be illegal.

I also got it accidentally installing the wrong setup and ran it thinking it was the software I wanted. The way I got rid of it was I did remove it from the extensions but I also opened task manager and found it in the Processes tab. I then went to ContinueToSave and right clicked on it and opened to file location. I deleted the file it was in (BetterSoft) and thats how I removed it, because i noticed that the continue to save was still running in Task Manager even after I removed extensions.

I could find no way to uninstall this after accidentally installing it. It installed after downloading the wrong setup file for a web browser, and I thought it was the right one. To delete it, go to your web browser's addons or extensions and you should findit there. Backdoor.Win32.WinterLove virus
