fabs.exe is a process used by Magix' software and part of File change and exchange server. It watches file changes, does service tasks for the media library. I find this file to be safe, none of my virus detection programs marked it as a threat nor containing any application that would cause harm. This MD5:b3009dcdbcc5efa49fa52562e9860e3c version file is safe. It was not marked as a threat or virus-containing any application by any antivirus software. I contacted magix and was told the file is part of their software and not to worry about it.
