Yes this is a part of infection. Try also looking for "liveu.exe" it should be in the RUN registry.

  • THREATrating from user Rob (Variant: 11965)

Kapnkool review very accurate. McAfee did not detect, even after i manualy identified file. Can not manual delete file (gives access denied message). for me Prevx was only antivirus to find and remove file. This file caused system slowdown and randomly caused 20 sec. critical system shutdown. creates flacor.dat file. 3-28-10 - infection occured

Most AV programs are missing this threat as of 4/3/2010. Nasty, nasty, nasty bug. Slipped right through Zone Alarm, and AVG. Spybot, AVG failed to detect on system scans. You may have to dig around and eliminate this by hand. I rid myself of this by accident by allowing the overly-zealous CCleaner program to clean up my registry. It implants the fraudulent date file, flacor.dat, and a registry entry that runs flacor at startup. Finding and eliminating this entry will allow you to delete the flacor and nls files by hand. Hopefully, more AV programs will catch on and eliminate this scourge.
