User Reviews of the "readerapphelper.exe"

  • THREATrating from user Nink for file %PROGRAMFILES%\Sony\ReaderDesktop\appHelper\ReaderAppHelper.exe (Variant: 1406833)

Sony Reader for ePub. Installs service SonySCSIHelperService.exe and start-up entry in Windows. The threat is privacy invasion. ReaderAppHelper.exe runs in the background and accesses my card reader when a memory card is inserted. There is no reason for it to do that. Sony has a reputation for creating the root kit.
