SAFErating from user Maccyroo for file %PROGRAMFILES%\Renesas Electronics\USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver\Application\nusb3mon.exe (Variant: 153649)
This is the "USB 3 Host Controller monitor" program installed on motherboards with compatible USB3 "Super Speed" ports. Provided by ASUS and other hardware manufacturers as part of the USB3 driver pack. Originally licensed through NEC but now officially licensed through "Renesas Electronics" [a Japanese company, that probably for some obscure and unimportant reason, is co-owned by NEC, Hitachi & Mitsubishi electronics]. I can find no information that suggests this process is required to run all the time but it uses very little memory [under 2000k on my system]
