Is the Process "g6ftpserver.exe" Safe or Threat ?
User Reviews of the "g6ftpserver.exe"

SAFErating from user a for file %PROGRAMFILES%\Gene6 FTP Server\G6FTPSERVER.EXE (Variant: 188061)
I've marked the 'rating' as 'threat' because the initial diagnosis was that this file is suspicious. It's not suspicious to me, on my machine, because it's legitimate software that I have installed for sensible reason. However, I can understand the idea that it could be a threat; if you *haven't* deliberately installed an FTP Server on your system, and you've found this file running then someone is hijacking your box for their own purposes. What the application does is to allow the transfer of files onto and off the machine upon which it runs. The PC in question can then be 'borrowed' as a file repository, by whoever installed it or whoever knows the login. So, if you haven't deliberately set up an FTP server on your system, you need to find out who has.. :-)
