    This file, "desktopsearchservice.exe" is the search engine for Copernic Desktop Search 2. It seems to do it's job well. In fact, it will "run away" with your cpu cycles, monopolizing all your computer power. I have set it to a low priority and that seems to help/allow you to use other programs while it is running, but does not always prevent its' "runaway" or "takeover" status. I haven't experienced any security issues with it.
