at your online help you say "File Information Panel (5) This panel contains basic information about file associated with selected item. Panel area supports drag'n'drop operation. If you can get any file and drop it to this panel, then File Details Dialog with additional security information will be displayed. " But it doesn't anything happen when i drag&drop a file from windows explorer to this panel. And dragging a file(name) from whithin system explorer to the panel is useless because after clicking on a file(name) the infoemation of the file is immediately displayed in the panel (without the need to drag & drop).
The next problem is at "services" - when i click on a service name and choose ""Stop service" in the right click menu then the line with the service is moved to the end of the "Stopped" section. So if i want to stop more then 1 service (lets say i want to stop 10 services) i must scroll upwards to the "Started" section again and again (10 times). That really sucks! Can you please change this behavior in such a way that the next service(name) on the list is marked (the next item on the "Started" section is marked with the blue line - without jumping to the end of the whoƶe list) ?
Some other suggestions to improve your really excellent program:
1) There are a lot of "svchost.exe" services at the "process" tab and nearly every svchost.exe represents more than one service. Would it be possible to extend the right click menu (or using another way) for stopping particular services of the choosen svchost, exe ?
2) Would it be possible to integrate a right click menu for "Process details -> Modules" with "Unload DLL" and/or "Kill DLL" item thus i can unload/kill a DLL from memory and/or (file)system ?
3) Can you add an option to resolve IP adresses in the connections tab to hostnames/domains ? Maybe you could add traceroute, ip-scanning, whois -functions in future versions ? And can you please explain the following line from my system explorer connections tab: "chrome.exe 5632 TCP/IP PROGASOFT-M2.fritz.box:49207 fa-in-f125.1e100.net:5222 ESTABLISHED" -> what exactly does "fa-in-f125.1e100.net:5222" mean - is this an internet adress ? (looks somehow weird for an ip adress and i also don't have a website named "fa-in-f125.1e100.net" opened with chrome) [it seems as it's not possible to upload pictures here so i can't send you a screenshot]
4) Why isn't it possible to start system explorer automatically with Windows 7 (32bit) - directly after installation i got an error message that the start of system explorer needs extended rights and therefore won't start. And when i now want to start system explorer from the start menu Windows 7 asks for administrative rights. My UAC is set to Standard and i don't want to lower it nor turn it off. Is there another option to automatically start it without user intervention, maybe as a windows task ? (can you then please tell me how do do that)
