Autocheck new files for ratings
  • It would be of great help if System explorer checked file rating of new files by it self in the background and providing a rating for the file automatically

  • windows makes and deletes all kind of files constantly... also where it should show the file's rating?

but...... make a shell extension to check the file's rating would be great too :)
  • So, I don't know if this was done yet, but which suggestion did you already implement, or are considering to use: The "check files in background" one or the "shell extension"?...

Because I suggest doing both, however with a bit of a change to the "check in background" one. What I am suggesting is not a constant background check (meaning consistently and all the time), but doing it at a certain time interval, similar to how the "cleanup junk processes" feature or whatever it's called works... So, you could have an adjustable option to have it check the files, oh, I don't know, let's say, either every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 2 hours, or 4 hours. So, just like how the "automatic processes cleanup" works, you can change the option to whatever time interval you like... does this sound good?
  • Thanks for suggestion. This could be implemented when we add the "Discovered" value to the items. Discovered value will show when the item was first seen by the System Explorer on your computer.
