SAFErating from user Flemur for file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\hpekkomj.sys (Variant: 1422528)
virustotal.com tole me that my ofdogeeg.sys file (from 360.cn/Malware Defender)was also called hpekkomj.sys. It showed up in Autoruns and was preventing boot-time autocheck. Renaming it and rebooting made it disappear from Autoruns. Reinstalling M-Defender DIDN'T make it come back! Strange.
